Best YTT school in Rishikesh, hands down!
Yoga Vidya Mandiram的点评
点评：I can't say enough great things about Yoga Vidya Mandiram!!! I completed my 200-hr YTT here in February and I'm SO glad I chose this school. What really sets it apart for me would be three factors: the location, the authenticity, and above all the people.
LOCATION: Unlike many of the schools I've seen here, which are crammed into downtown areas near busy streets, Yoga Vidya Mandiram (YVM) is tucked away on a peaceful hillside outside of Tapovan — a short walk into town (5 min) and an even shorter walk to a nearby pharmacy for toiletries, but still it feels so peaceful and remote inside the school grounds! There's a garden perfect for studying between classes, and there's tons of wildlife — monkeys, cows, and dogs to name a few! It's really special to have such a gorgeous backdrop in my surroundings, I felt so blessed to stay there.
AUTHENTICITY: I can say with certainty that this school truly cares about the quality of their instruction, the care they provide, and the well-being of their students. They don't view yoga teacher training as just a business; they genuinely care about sharing their passion for yoga and sparking it in as many people as they can.
PEOPLE: I saved the best for last! YVM is blessed with an incredible set of staff members and yoga teachers. The administrator Prince made us feel right at home, and did an excellent job managing all our activities and logistics. Kuldeep is a phenomenal chef, and prepared meals that were both tasty and nutritious. Janesh was an excellent kitchen staff member and super friendly as well, and Manoj did a wonderful job keeping our rooms and facilities clean.
Onto the teachers! Our pranayama & meditation teacher Anu has a true gift for meditation, and a passion for sharing it with her students. I learned so much in just 3 short weeks from her. Our anatomy teacher Harshika was amazing as well — I feel like her knowledge knew no bounds! Sandeep was an incredible philosophy teacher — so wise but also so humble, and hilarious as well ^ -^ Last, Vinu is a truly gifted ashtanga teacher — his voice is so strong, and his love of yoga is contagious!
If you're thinking about Yoga Vidya Mandiram for your yoga teacher training, go for it! You'll feel welcomed into a beautiful family and you'll want to stay forever ❤️
