Gone extremely downhill.
Johnstown Castle的点评
点评：I am a local and remember when Johnstown Castle was free. I usually visit twice a year and decided to head for a visit in June 2025. I am very disappointed with the way the Castle and Gardens have gone. There's actually weeds growing in the windows by the toilets by the castle and mould on the toilet doors.
The museum was awful, information panels missing, paint coming off the walls, you can see a backyard from the famine part of the museum and the yard was full of rubbish.
Lots of Dog poo on Paths and lots of Loose dogs roaming around the place with no staff member to tell people to put dogs back on leads. The walled garden full of weeds too.
The manner of the staff in the cafe was absolutely terrible. I nearly walked out over their manner.
The cafe is extremely overpriced as is the entry fee. The place seems to have gown downhill in the last year or so.
