点评：Flip-Flop Tour’s Yucatán trip was a memorable excursion. Dan planned a trip that was varied in activities and utilized local guides who enriched our experience. Natcho, our guide for the Palenque temples, was knowledgeable, passionate about the Mayan people and their culture and his enthusiasm captured our attention. Many of us were clamoring for more info we could study independently. He set the hook and opened the door to this sophisticated culture.
From floating with flamingos to dropping down into a cenote for the swim of a lifetime to being sequestered in a cave learning from a guide the art of hat weaving to learning more about the Mayan culture trough their temple arrangements, this tour was enriching on all fronts.
The meals which were a part of the tour were delicious and reflected again an insight into culture and locale. The accommodations were well placed so that when we did return to the hotels, getting to local restaurants or focal
points was easy.
I definitely plan on participating in
more tours from Dan and his company Flip-Flop.
