Poor slopes grooming, little snow, but great food and street atmosphere.

点评：We went as 2 adults and 1 youth to ski in La Clusaz for 5 days in 12-16Mar, 2025. We are ski enthusiasts from Norway. This was a disappointing ski experience as our first time in French alps. It was rainy for 5 days, wet snow at the bottom of the slopes. Higher up, the snow was good, but it was sooo foggy that it was impossible to see 4 meter in front of you.
But the worst thing was that the slopes were NOT groomed (to our biggest surprise!). This made the whole ski experience even less pleasant. We were very surprised of so bad slopes grooming.
The French delicious food, restaurants and the small, cozy streets and shops saved the experience. French people were nice (even though most still dont speak English, but they try at leased! 😊, which was great!)
Overall, its not a place we would want to come back to for skiing, but the summer may be worth exploring (for mountain hikes and biking).
