点评:The easiest and cheapest way to get to The Jinsha Site Musuem is to take the subway to Jin Sha Site Museum station on Line 7 and exit the station via Exit C. Proceed along WE for about 80 metres and you will see the Main Entrance to the ancient archaeological dig site on the right, across the road. The museum is open from 0800hrs to 1800hrs and costs RMB 70 (approx. USD $14) per entry if you are an adult.
IMHO, this place is not worth visiting. While there are some nice bronze relics on display that are allegedly dated back to 1600 BC, the exhibitions displaying the archaeological dig sites are nothing more than square holes in the ground with signs stating that "these are the foundations of the royal Shang dynasty palace", or "gigantic elephant tusks were found here". Since there is nothing on display at the dig site, to me, it is just a square hole in the ground and whatever it was before, is really anyone's guess.
Although there are separate exhibition halls displaying the various artifacts discovered from the various dig sites, I feel it would have been better to leave some of the artifacts within the dig site that is on display. It would have been easier to look at the site and relate to the artifact discovered.
Museum aside, the place is huge, and pet-friendly. You may let your dog roam free and there is a lot of room to do so. There are rivers and winding walkways through the forests and bamboo groves that you can take a stroll through if you are into vegetation and foliage. While wandering through one of the bamboo groves, I stumbled onto an enclosure housing deer. Unfortunately, I could only stay for a few seconds before beating a hasty retreat as the stench was unbearable.
