点评：Great service and safety oriented business. Extremely knowledgeable, service oriented staff and they've done a great job to keep the grounds beautiful, rustic and true to its historical roots. The office is well stocked if you forgot sunscreen or a phone protector and their T-shirts are cute! Our driver gave great advice and directions when taking us to the drop-off site. Highly recommend Gypsy Canoe. Arkansas has done a good job at promoting preservation and Gypsy even provided mesh waterproof trash sacks, so it was easy to maintain the beauty of nature and pack everything out that you brought in.
The kayak park was fun and short lived! The Upper Illinois is cool, clear, and there's abundant wildlife! Woodland sunflowers were blooming along the banks. We saw a tortoise, too many to count red eared sliders, a baby alligator snapping turtle, and a spiny softshell turtle. There was also a nonvenomous water snake in the shallow water among the rocks on one of the banks where we stopped.
We started with the 4 mile Gypsy trip and for our first time floating here, it was perfect. Can't wait to try their other offerings when we come back.
