Relaxing Float, scenic!
Gypsy Camp & Canoe的点评
点评：We ran 10 minutes late for our 10 am float,
But they held the bus for us(Thankyou!) Trevor was our driver and Noah set us up at the park.
We started at the Park held by the city of Siloam Springs, the man made narrow drops there were awesome. The water was a little low, but hey, it’s august! I fished while my wife caught the sun rays, and we stopped at several gravel bars to get in and cool off in the water. This was the first time floating this area of the Illinois, and with Gypy camp and canoe. I loved the bluffs and deep holes in the river, very scenic! We saw many egrets, herons along the way, and a bunch of buzzards catching the updraft along the bluffs. The buildings at Gypsy camp are cool from the late1920s when it was a youth camp. I love the big bunkhouse with the river view. I hope they get them where they will rent out. All the people at camp were awesome and helpful. Two thumbs up
