点评：We played this round on pretty much the best weather day you could wish for! Bright sunshine, blue sky and a very gentle breeze, pretty much perfect conditions. We also paid for a buggy which was the best £27.50 EVER spent!!!!.. I had concerns, given the fact that the course yardage is so low in comparison to most. I thought that this may feel like playing a pitch and putt. This was soon put to bed after playing the 3 completely different par 3 holes to start. Each totally different and all challenging. This set the tone for the rest of the round. You have to be accurate and plot your way around and hope for friendly bounces. As a few have stated, it has a links feel to it and you can be punished even with a perfect hit shot that lands and bounces 90 degrees Left or right. There are a lot of blind shots and you must trust the yardage and sight sticks. A few par 4's are drivable and tempting but be aware.. As a first timer not knowing the course the slope rating is a bit harsh as i lost 4 shots to my handicap of 14 so had to play off 10... As a regular member i would say its fair as you could quickly learn how to play the course. I dropped 15 on the front and just the 1 on the back nine.
The 360 degree views and scenery are spectacular and it does feel like you are playing on top of the world. Its so nice to look down onto greens and the elevation changes and setting of the course are quite fantastic... I certainly cant wait to go back and play the course again Its pretty unique and a memorable course. On the other hand, if you are unfortunate to play it in bad weather i am sure you would hate the course!!!.. The pro and bar staff and all the other members on the course and in the bar were very friendly and accommodating... Overall a 10/10 round of golf on a hidden gem of a course in the most fantastic setting.
