点评：We kept a few hours unscheduled to walk Champagne Avenue with friends and pop in where we fancied. My friend wanted to walk to Comtesse Lafond and it it is a bit of a walk, all the way down to the end of Champagne Avenue, but it turned out to be worth it. We have done a lot of traveling and tasting so we didn't need the full overview, but we sat out on the courtyard with a view to the chateau and received a nice overview of each champagne. There were several to choose from and each of the 4 of us tried 4 different champagnes. Three of us are partial to Extra Brut and Brut Nature but we were actually stunned by the Brut. It is probably one of the nicest traditional Brut champagnes I have ever had - perfect champagne for anyone and any occasion. I purchased two, plus the Rose because it is done maceration method, but I regret not buying more of the Brut because neither bottle made it home, we drank them before leaving France. We had a nice time and also enjoyed the local dog and cat.
