Pay the extra for the Premium Lounge

点评：Having recently traveled from Dover to Calais ( outbound 07.00, return 23.30), I would highly recommend spending the extra £18.00 for this upgrade.
It’s a private lounge with access only available when you check in. You receive a unique code for access.
Super comfortable couches and chairs, there is a separate dining area. So much quieter, suggest you take some earplugs and an eye mask if you want a snooze
Hot and cold food and drinks are self serve. The food menu includes cooked breakfast (normally about £12.00 in the food court)
My breakfast was cooked to order and was perfect, access to fresh tea/coffee, cold drinks and even some alcohol if you’re Not the driver.
The evening sailing have a very limited hot selection, but again cooked to order.
Even though the check in is 1 hour and the trip is 1.5 hours, it is still worth the difference to the price of the Shuttle.
This is my 2nd trip , regrettably I didn’t choose the premium lounge offer on my 1st trip.
