Ed Sheeran concert August 2019

点评：My then 9 year old daughter got lost during the Ed Sheeran homecoming concert of his Divide world tour!! Was an absolutely terrifyingly gut wrenching experience! She got lost during a toilet visit and was gone for a good 15 minutes, not a huge amount of time to most but a lifetime to a parent with a missing child amongst 45,000 people in huge open park with many exits!! The event staff were absolutely beyond amazing and found her in minutes before I'd even reported her missing (she looked upset and confused and was ALONE so they took control) and put her in the medical tent. Even though I was the one running around looking for her and showing all the staff her photo, when they radioed through that she was possibly in said tent, they still just walked me over and despite her seeing me and trying to run to me, they would not let her go with me nor let me enter the tent without showing them I.D and confirming details with them which they had previously checked with my daughter. Amazing security and staff, cannot give them enough praise for doing such an amazing job.
After the initial close to heart failure experience we then enjoyed an amazing show (though I held onto her tightly for the rest of it!!), Security and staff before, during and after was amazing. The show itself was out of this world and set up just right for attendees all over the park to enjoy the show in various ways, be it up stage front or in various smaller and family friendly areas with big screens and amazing acoustics all round.
Exiting the event was seamless and we'll coordinated.
Been to a great many events over the decades and this was one of the best organised and well set up of them all.
Will definitely be attending many more at chantry park!
