点评:The beach itself, to be fair, is one of the nicest stretches of beach in Yorkshire/Cleveland.
Soft sand, still there (though thin) at high tide, backed by cliffs (with clifftop walks in either direction) and when I went not a person on it. Car park was free, though smallish. No issue on a weekday evening in September.
Still, probably not one I'd suggest tourists visit as you should prioritise the places with pretty accompanying towns and villages with facilities for visitors, I think. Its fair to say that Skinningrove village is no Staithes, Robin Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay, Whitby or even Saltburn, even if it does boast a better actual beach than any of them.
The village looks like a North East industrial village with housing for workers, and has few facilities for visitors beyond the fish and chip shop.
