点评：My driver supplied Mateos to give me various snorkelling locations over two days. This he did in a pleasant manner and with an excellent Bbq. I am pretty independent, with all my own gear and happy to snorkel alone, which i did. So there was just me, my driver, mateos and his boat owning brother in law. Price at IDR 1,500,000 seemed fair for this. (Approx 8-4). I am guessing Mateo will do small group tours too, if other clients are available. I often forget, but it’s always worth clarifying exactly what you are getting and what you are paying for any trips.
If you were not too confident /swimming/snorkelling, check what gear you would be supplied with and how long you will be snorkelling for and how much supervision Mateo will give.. You really need a buoyancy aid, fins and mask/snorkel too, of course. but i am not sure if they will be supplied. I did see someone else with no find standing on the sand which is sometimes in between coral sections. Not a great idea!
So Mateos was good. But always remrmber you’re in a pretty undeveloped place so things are not super sophisticated yet which is part of the fun but also sometimes your assumptions can be wrong:)). My snorkel boat trips in New Zealand were sorted somewhat differently. That’s Indonesia!
