An Unforgettable Adventure with Mario!

点评：We had 10 unforgettable days on Buton Island, guided by the incredible Mario. With Mario, we didn’t just find an excellent guide but also a wonderful friend. His warmth, enthusiasm, and passion for nature made our trip truly special.
A few weeks before our visit, he had already helped us organize and plan our itinerary via WhatsApp. The itinerary Mario prepared was wonderfully diverse: Together, we went jungle trekking and camping, explored caves, swam in cenotes, and relaxed on beautiful secluded beaches. We were almost always the only visitors at these locations.
We stayed at Mario’s homestay during our trip, which was a fantastic experience in itself. It gave us the opportunity to spend more time with him, cook together, and plan the next day’s adventures. His Airbnb was comfortable, clean, and welcoming.
We highly recommend staying at his homestay during your visit as well.
Mario is an exceptionally knowledgeable guide and a true nature camping enthusiast. He knows countless beautiful, off-the-beaten-path locations that even locals may not be aware of. He customizes the experience to your preferences: If you’re an adventurer, he can organize multi-day jungle treks, complete with camping deep in the wilderness. If you’d rather relax on a beach or explore local sights, he’ll tailor the perfect itinerary for you. Even after we left Buton, he remained extremely helpful, assisting us in organizing the rest of our journey through Sulawesi, connecting us with the right people, and helping us communicate with locals whenever we called him.
Mario’s dedication to providing a personal and memorable experience makes him stand out. Whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or a mix of both, you are in the best hands with Mario. We can’t recommend him enough!
