点评：One of THE best trail rides I've ever been on. Let me tell you why...
As the father of an Equestrian, I have spent a LOT of time at stables. I can't tell you the technical side of things, but I CAN tell you when stables are clean, horses are well taken care of and equipment is new-ish and up to date. Fort McDowell Adventures checked off all those boxes for me. A good start. The next thing that struck me was- though young, the staff was super professional and clearly passionate about working with the horses and trail riding tourists. I wish I could remember every team members names, but I can't. Hailey, Taylor and the rest of Troy's crew made my family's ride fun, but also safe. Crossing a river might not sound like much, but it was an exciting experience that we'll all remember for a lifetime. The setting for the ride is awesome. The desert, the mountains, the river and the brush really come alive on horseback. One thing that did strike me was how several riders ignored the recommendation of wearing jeans/long pants and good shoes. I'd imagine they were feeling it the next day. This trail ride was not hard, but the country we rode is was not easy. Be prepared, and enjoy the ride.
