Peach King Fruit Stand的点评
点评：My sister and I decided to go on an outing to Keremeous. It was a beautiful scenic drive from and back to our home in Penticton. We ended up at two fruit stands across the road from each other. After parking the car in one of the spacious parking lots, we toured the first stand called Bears Fruit. It was filled with locally grown and fresh in-season fruits and vegetables, jams, jellies and syrups. After completing our tour, we crossed the road and visited the Peach King Orchard stand. As we walked the aisles, we were greeted by all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables, jams, jellies, syrups, honey, ice cream, home-baked goods, fresh fruit milkshakes, ciders, fruit vinegars and many tempting varieties of berries including my favourites, cherries. Everything looked so good and inviting! Bright green English cucumbers and the biggest zucchini I have ever seen called out — Buy Us! We saw potatoes of various types that could be purchased in pre-weighed packages or customers could select their own choices in any amount desired. We found the employees very knowledgeable and helpful with giving directions to items we wanted as well as providing pricing information including wholesale costs. Bags for individual items as well as boxes to put these in helped a great deal as well walked around the huge store. Our purchases included fresh peaches, sweet potatoes, small carrots and our favorite “Peaches and Cream Corn”. We noticed and appreciated how our items were carefully handled at the checkout. After weighing and bagging, each one was handed to us especially the peaches to prevent bruising them. Although both stores were busy, employees were helpful when answering questions. The only problem we had was deciding which items to take home with us since all looked so good!!
