Hidden gem of a museum
Streetlife Museum of Transport的点评
点评：We visited the museum after seeing it advertised on the television. We were so curious we visited it the following day.
It’s great for all ages with lots to see and discuss plus it brings back some great childhood memories.
It’s on 2 floors with easy access by lift or stairs. Loved the old shops and the history of transport.
Plenty of interactive things as well.
All the way around I said wow !! And how much our grandchildren would love it.
We spent about 1.5 hours there and that was walking at a steady pace and looking at everything in the museum.
Don’t miss the little cinema showing the old trams and people it’s about a 11 min show.
The museum is in the museum quarter In the old part of the town lovely cobbled streets and very old quaint traditional pubs local.
It’s free but they have a donation box to go towards it’s up keep.
We will certainly be back very soon so we can take the grandchildren.
