点评：This winery is really off the beaten path - literally and figuratively. Our guide made the driving look easy - this area is known for sharp turns and the paved road ended well before we arrived to this winery. Once there, however, the views of the valley are absolutely stunning. Giulia led us through one of the vineyards to see the grapes up close and so that we could best appreciate the terrain and steepness of the slope. Wow!
Back at the tasting room we sampled the rose, Chianti Classico, the reserve and an additional robust wine which we enjoyed so much that we are shipping some home. The estate also makes vermouth and a gin from the wild juniper berries which are all over the property. Even if you don’t typically drink them it’s easy to appreciate the beautiful nose and flavor of each one.
