点评：My husband, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, and I were staying in nearby Neive and driving around the region one day. My BIL noticed a sign with the name Mauro Veglio on it and was aware of his wines. We turned down the driveway. We were unsure if it was a private residence or winery or both. We rang a doorbell. A man, turns out it was Mauro, answered. He quickly got his wife (who speaks English, his was very limited and our Italian was limited). Even though we did not have an appointment she said she would be happy to do a wine tasting with us. I am almost positive her name was Daniella, but I may be wrong. We had the best time. She spent well over an hour educating us on 7 of their wines with tastes of each. We learned so much about the Nebbiolo grape. She had informed us that they do sell to Total Wine and More in the US. We offered to pay her for her time, she would not hear of it. I have gone to Total Wine since returning home to purchase some of their wines which is all she asked for us to do.
If you would like to do a tasting, I do think they would prefer an appointment.
