点评:Originally (from our guidebooks) owned by a farmer who also gave tours, this farm has been taken over by a wine co-operative that provides a pretty slick farm experience operation. They advertise 7/7 hours (though here is some confusing hours information on the tour entry door). Our entry was via the shop area (not the tour area) but from there, and we visited after 5 pm on a Monday where many venues in France are not open, we could tour the interior where you can see the goats eating and see the exhibits on cheese making. The English and French signs say they do not encourage interaction with the goats and explain why. We were able to purchase the crottins de chavignol (quite nice) from the shop which also had wines. They are a speciality of this region.
The road into it is controlled by one-way lights. It seemed popular with families with playgrounds, picnic grounds and other farm animals to see as well as signs that are understandable for children. Perhaps not as interesting to couples like us but quite different and I am glad we went.
