点评:D Day was a totally profound & sorrowful day for Bedford VA. Just minutes after the morning of June 6, 1944, D Day the Company A Bedford boys, soldiers landed on Omaha Beach & 19 Bedford boys lost their lives, just after their Higgins boat ramp came down.
Devastating their families, loved ones and the entire town of Bedford, forever changing memories with heart breaking losses. Many WWII & all war museums & memorials are so moving, important & important to remember.
So, I will say here, at The Bedford Boys Tribute Center, in their tour, you’ll be brought intimately & individually very close to these boys, soldiers who landed & bravely met their deaths for their country, our freedom & our allies. And what it meant & means to this small town. See how such loss lingers, with a glimpse of how such an experience & such a heavy loss really is.
It’ll amaze you, you’ll be sad, but you’ll stand very tall with pride knowing how these boys were among the first to bravely lead this battle & invasion, for us. There are so many D Day stories, and I think you’ll surely value these.
Thank you Ken & Linda Parker & Carolyn Fellers for creating this memorial. ❤️🇺🇸 Profound and very AWSOME.
