点评：The Outer Circle Linear Trail, also known as the Outer Circle Anniversary Trail, runs through Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. The Outer Circle Trail follows the former Outer Circle Line. The line was intended to supplement Melbourne's radial train network. Unfortunately, due to lack of passenger patronage and the inability to secure the support of freight users, the Outer Circle Line became commercially unviable. Since the end of the Outer Circle Line, the linear park, which has become a popular hiker-biker trail. The trail is sealed, in concrete and bitumen. Along the way, there are many small parks, which often have BBQs. Water fountains can be found around every 2 kms (1 mile). The Outer Circle Line began operation in 1891, and the Trail has been upgraded regularly. Following the Outer Circle Trail is a good day out, it traverses Melbourne's prosperous Eastern Suburbs.
