Memorable Dives and First Junior Try-Dives with Poseidon
Poseidon Diving Club的点评
点评：After a few years out of the water, we booked a couple of dives with Poseidon Diving Club, including a refresher shore dive and a trip to an underwater cavern. We also arranged for our children to try a junior dive for the first time.
The location couldn’t have been better, a beautiful, sheltered cove that felt safe and welcoming. It was a real bonus that the team were happy for us to bring our grandparents along too, who enjoyed snorkeling in calm waters after several days of rougher sea conditions. We also really appreciated the free transfer to and from the location, which made everything easy and stress-free.
The staff were patient with us given how rusty we were, and the shore dive was a great way to ease back in. The second dive, out to the cavern, was the highlight. We were taken by boat with a very friendly skipper who helped us enter the water with ease. The cavern itself was fun to explore and we spotted some fascinating marine life. The only downside was that the dive felt a little short and we felt it could have been extended to make the most of such a special site.
For the junior dives, things took a little while to get started due to a large group, but once underway, our children had one instructor each, which was great for their confidence and safety. The dive mainly focused on getting them comfortable with the gear and breathing, rather than lots of skills, but they both enjoyed the experience and came out wanting to do it again. Like our cavern dive, this could perhaps have been a touch longer, but the outcome was a happy one for our children, which was the most important part.
The cove itself is a real gem, with clean toilets, a friendly beach bar, and sunbeds available for a small fee.
Overall, Poseidon Diving Club gave us a memorable experience, balancing patience, safety, and fun in a beautiful setting. With slightly longer dive times, it would have been perfect, but we left very happy and would return.
