点评：I had the pleasure of touring Addis Ababa with Abenezer as my guide for half a week in September 2024, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we met, it was clear that Abenezer is not only incredibly kind and accommodating but also deeply knowledgeable about Ethiopia’s rich history and vibrant present. He knows Addis Ababa like the back of his hand and introduced me to hidden gems and dining spots I would never have found on my own, which I truly appreciated.
Abenezer was also incredibly helpful with practical matters—whether it was arranging taxis or offering guidance on local customs and norms, he made navigating the city easy and enjoyable.
The highlight of the tour was, without a doubt, the visit to Merkato. Abenezer took me to the recycling center there, where I witnessed ingenious artisans transform discarded materials into beautiful new wares. It was absolutely fascinating and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Abenezer’s insights into the lives of these craftsmen added a whole new layer to the experience.
If you’re visiting Addis Ababa and want a truly enriching and seamless experience, I can’t recommend Abenezer enough. He’s an exceptional guide who goes above and beyond!
