点评：Abenezer organised an excellent one-day tour of Addis Ababa. We began at a atmospheric café known for its outstanding coffee, setting the tone and energy for the day. From there, we explored the bustling and chaotic Mercato—a market area that would be daunting to navigate without a guide—before enjoying a long, delicious lunch at a vibrant Ethiopian restaurant. In the afternoon, we visited the National Museum, with its excellent exhibition of ancient hominid finds (Lucy), and we ended the day with a scenic hike in Entoto Park, capped off by a panoramic view of the city and a well-earned cold beer.
Abenezer speaks excellent English and is deeply knowledgeable about Addis and Ethiopia’s history and development. He was highly responsive to my interests, tailoring the experience in ways that made the day both personal and memorable. I saw and learned things I never would have discovered on my own. On top of all that, he’s friendly, engaging, and simply a pleasure to spend time with. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to any traveler looking to explore Addis Ababa.
