Beautiful White Rock Beach Offers a Different Beach Experience
Little Cove Beach的点评
点评：Lake Huron has some amazing sandy beaches for sunning and swimming, and this spot is NOT that.
This is turquoise water, cliffs, waves and rocks.
This stunningly beautiful cove is a lovely place to spend time with a picnic and go in the water, but there is no sand; only water-washed white limestone rocks.
Things to know:
PARKING
You MUST reserve a spot or you will be sent away. There is no street parking. Parking is managed by the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula and Parks Canada.
BEACH ACCESS
there is a short but steep walk to the beach - be prepared for this if you are carrying things.
BATHROOM and CHANGEROOM
There are porta pottys in the parking lot for a bio break, and then down at the beach there is a larger outhouse for bio break and there is enough room to change there, but it is not a changeroom.
SWIMMING
This cove has steady larger waves and as noted it is all rock, so water shoes are recommended. A member of our group slipping and fell on on of the larger rock surfaces.
Once in the water, play in the waves, but note the waves are strong so it's splashy.
Spent an afternoon here and it was very enjoyable. The trees along the shore provided nice shade. Also the wind/waves coming to shore made tis beach a lot cooler than others in the area I visited, so if you want a spot to relax, take in the waves and enjoy the rugged beauty, this is well worth your time.
