What a massive rip-off for something you can see for free in the public park of Rotorua’s Kuirau Park!

点评：Pretty crap really.
I went there when I was a lot younger and NONE of the locations I saw when I was younger was available to view this time around. Instead the unguided trail took us out the back & around the swampy overgrown Manuka. Hard to see any boiling mud unless you have a telephoto lens! NOT KIDDING!
No gysers! Just lots of hot water (which we saw for free in Rotorua’s Kuirau park)! All this for $45 (?) dollars each. Not worth it.
All the good areas to look at that I remember from when I was a child (including the Pohatu gyser) are all closed off “for guided tours only” (ie: megabucks!) Do they think we are all made of money? They are just getting greedy now. Used to be a good value place to visit but now it’s just a rip-off. Do better whanau!
