The Black Toad的点评
点评：The Black Toad has basically everything I want in a pub. The rotation of draught beers is superb, always a couple of little surprises available but you're guaranteed something great if you just fancy a familiar tipple. The bottle room at the back is unmatched on the Wirral for choice and value.
The owners, Rob and Shell, and all the staff are just great. Very friendly and knowledgeable, always accommodating, and they go about their business in an unassuming way. They create a really warm atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, and there's a good mix of people who are drawn to what they do. I always leave feeling happy that I came, and not just because of the German smoked lagers.
I'm autistic and I sometimes find it tough going out to a pub or bar. I'm not sure why but the noise and bustle can exhaust me a bit, I feel out of place. For what it's worth, I never feel like that at The Black Toad no matter how lively the bar gets, I feel welcome and comfortable. Thanks to all the team and I'll look forward to visiting again soon.
