Polo Beach的点评
点评：Google maps is generally a great help, but if you put in "Polo Beach Oahu" it will send you on a wild chase for beach acccess. You'll be met with closed gates and signs reading "no beach access." Instead, put in "Hawaii Polo Club." As you approach the club fromt he east on Farrington Highway you are likely to see cars parked on both sides of the road. Look for a blue sign on the right saying "Public Right of Way to Beach."
Start there, and follow the narrow path some 500 feet straight to the beach. A wonderful landscape opens up. To the right is a clothing optional section, and to the left people were in regular swimwear.
The views are gorgeous, but I take points off for the poor swimming conditions. Apart from a narrow band of "dipping pools" the bottom quickly becomes very rocky and is dangerous to swimmers. There are also no facilities at all from what I could tell. Bring water and shade, although at times you will find some shade close to a sparcely wooded area.
