They walked us through the entire process from tree to finished bar, and it really opened our eyes to the value of Hawaii-grown chocolate and the special craft niche they’ve created here. You can immediately see the pride their family takes in the farm and the land — the property itself is beautiful and worth the visit alone. Even on a very rainy day day it was a great time.
And the chocolate…so good. After tasting it, you understand why small-batch local chocolate is so different from anything you buy in a store.
The tour was completely worth the price. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the island, and even locals would really enjoy it. Such a cool, authentic experience and one of the highlights of our trip! Can’t wait to come back for one of their whiskey & chocolate events.
