点评:We knew that the statue was undergoing renovations last year but we still came as it was an impressive site to see.
We walked most of the grounds to check out the Hon-Do (Main Hall), Fudomyoo statue, Guadian Diety of the Three Jewels and the Daikokuten diety before walking through the short tunnels to the Reclining Buddha. Don't skip seeing if you can as the pathways wander around a green forested area and we found some hidden nooks with small statues, altars, etc.
While a barrier blocked the main view of the reclining buddha we just had to maneuver ourselves around to find the best views at the time. Unfortuately the ropes that could be used to "shake" the buddha's hands were not accessible which was a bummer.
Overall glad we visited and would consider coming back after the renovations are done.
