6 days horse trekking across the Andes - wonderful unforgettable experience - highly recommended

点评：My wife and I joined the 6 day horse trekking trip across the Andes from Argentina to Chile. We are both 67 years old. My wife had much horse riding experience, whereas my experience was very limited which turned out not to be a problem at all. The trekking consists of 4 days on horses with about 5-8 hours horseback riding a day. On day 4 there is a day “off” and on the final day (day 6) you are transported the final stretch by mini-bus to Santiago in Chile. We slept in good quality tents every night, except on the final night where we stayed in a wonderful cabin next to rio Maipu in Chile.
The horse trekking was an absolutely wonderful experience which we will never forget. The Andes scenery is simply stunning, and ever changing. It is a unique experience to live - trek on horses and camp - in a small group in such overwhelming nature for several days.
Pablo and his entire team, including the back-office and the excellent, hardworking and humble gauchos on our trek (Roger, Gabriel, Christian and Luciano), are top, top quality. The booking and planning of the trip was easy with very clear instructions and packing lists, and all messages were answered promptly. The horses are of excellent quality. The camps were always ready upon arrival and all meals and beverages were not only served on time but they were of very good quality. The asado on day 4 was especially memorable and amazing.
Finally, Pablo and the gauchos are extremely serviceminded and created such a pleasant, welcoming and joyful atmosphere.
We cannot recommend Pablo and his team enough, and the trekking is highly recommendable.
