点评：Our being somewhat of wine connoisseurs and having relocated from a State that offers so many vineyards and easy to go wine tasting often, plus having had the opportunity of visiting many region in America with fine wines – we have been overwhelmed with the Southwest especially Arizona, with so many established and up-and-coming extremely good to great wineries, making day outings, day trips and weekenders extremely pleasing doing picnics (when the weather is cool or comfortable), wine tastings, tours or just relaxing. If you are a wine fan, you know wine is subjective and differs from everyone’s own palate and liking. Because of diverse variances in each experience, or try to compare one winery, vineyard, terroir, grape or wine to another, I’ve established a system for grading that will give the infrequent novice wine taster or the most erudite enthusiast a bearing on each vineyard or winery visited. My guidelines are: 1) beauty of location and its scenery [ Scored:3.0 ] ; 2) the establishment’s appearance and ambience [ Scored:3.5]; 3) the owner/operators’ attention to their customers and hospitality [ Scored:4.5 ]; 4) activities, events and/or meals/munchies/entertainment [ Scored:3.5 ]; 5) wine selection, quality, taste and varieties [ Scored:4.5 ]; and 6) heavily weighted on our taste [ Scored:4.5 ]; as well as 7) value, consistency and price of the product [ Scored:4.5]. None of the aforementioned are in any particular order of value. The scale being 1 the worst, 5 the best and recommended and our overall assessment by score and/or pro/cons are: not having had the opportunity to visit their actual vineyard as opposed to the tasting room and scores a 4.0! Check it out, it’s a more than once visit – great wine.
