Lovely gem of a garden spilling over a hillside!

点评：Stunningly beautiful gardens with plants densely but harmoniously planted on a fairly steep hillside behind the house, along with a small number of intriguing found objects. A path winds amongst them giving different views over the stream that runs through the garden, the hills of Ulva, and Loch Tuath. But the plants are the stars, growing robustly, in places tumbling over each other, and so artfully placed that they look nearly natural. I had sprained my knee and had to take the path slowly but it was totally worth it, this lovely garden was a highlight of our time on Mull. Several people mentioned that the gardener isn't available to talk about the plants but she has done her work: just enjoy the garden, which clearly took thousands of hours to achieve! Note there is very limited parking, probably 2 cars max, and it is a dangerous place to park on the road.
