Springvale Botanical Cemetery的点评
点评：A funeral is hard enough for family and friends, when the cemetery don't get it right it makes it even harder. We buried my aunt last week and had to wait while they finished digging her grave! They seem to think this is acceptable as it was within the time they say the graveside service was to occur. Cutting it fine and given most of the family waited half an hour while they did this, a family member had driven directly to the grave however and watched while they did this. The funeral director was pretty dismissive as well saying it's hard to get the timing right every time. For us that is no excuse, it was their job to get it right, we paid them enough to get it right! The celebrant they recommended wasn't any good either sadly.
I will say that the coffin, flowers and some other parts of the service were very good.
Springvale staff that I have spoken to are adamant that they were within the timeframe provided and therefore have not done anything wrong! Do they not understand how distressing this was for us? Clearly not as they only said the word sorry when I pointed out that they hadn't even offered us an apology! Appalling service and total lack of responsibility all round.
