Las Tortugas Adventures的点评
点评：We booked the 7pm tour through our hotel. We had a rental car so we did not take their transportation.
Overall, it was poorly run. We had 4 “guides” for our group. They were yelling and singing amongst themselves while also talking trash about the people in our group in Spanish, assuming none of us would understand.
At the start, it was still light out and we paddled single file through the mangrove, which was pretty cool. There were tons of mosquitos & we were not prepared for that, so we got eaten alive.
Once we reached the bay, it was still a little light out so we hung out for a few minutes. Then we gathered as a group, kind of holding on to each other’s kayaks so we could stay together.
Then, the guides pulled out a tarp and told us to pull it over our heads and splash our hands in the water to see the bioluminescence. We thought this was lame. We could see it a little but it wasn’t the experience we thought it would be.
After about 10 minutes of that, we headed back. By this point it was getting dark. We had to navigate the mangrove, single file, in the dark. If it wasn’t for the moonlight in certain parts of the mangrove, it would have been completely black. This part was terrible.
All but one guide flew by us and the final one was about to do the same but being last in the group, I said something to him to ensure he didn’t leave us by ourselves.
All in all, the guides were unprofessional and had little concern for the people in our group. I would not recommend this tour.
