点评:Orange Island Park also know as Juzizhou Island( 桔子洲公园} is big park with a sprawling 5.7km pedestrian, we queue for the sightseeing electric train one way to save some energy for a leisure walk around the island.
It was chock-a-block with tourists, thus the queue was long, however our Tour Leader managed to get an early train for her VIP group.
We took the cute colorful train and enjoyed a panaroma view of the park.
Our tour leader told us this island was named after the 100 orange trees however its not the peak season thus we don’t get to see any oranges.
We droved passed through a very well manicured park with beautiful magnolia trees and flowering plants.
There are benches and rest areas for visitors to take a break from their walk. Many are seen taking strolls, posing for photographs by the riverside.
This touristic site is famous for its iconic landmark of the 32 meter height Young Mao Zedong statue.
Very challenging to capture a proper shot without any hinderance as many visitors are either blocking or posing without giving chance to other photographers!!!
There is a long queue at the Pavilion to take a frame up shot of the statue, it’s too long to wait for our turn, thus we gave up !!!! We been here, seen it and be done with it !!
