点评：This area offers some of the best panoramic views in the Zhangjiajie National Park. To get here go to the Southgate, pay 225 yuan for a ticket in high season then you can take stairs or a cable car to the too. We would recommend taking the cable car - to get here you can take a bus near Oxygen Square and pay 65 yuan to go up or 118 yuan for a round trip. The stairs down are easy with lots of breaks. If you choose to take the stairs up you can follow the signs from the Oxygen Square. I would recommend only taking the stairs down unless you want to murder your legs and remember to bring a good pair of shoes.
The views are very worth it with all kinds of land formations nearby like the five finger peak, flying cloud cave, natural mural and echo cliff. We avoided the echo cliff at first because there were many screaming and yelling tourists and did a loop around the top which ended in this area.
The area can be misty and quite humid in the morning in July so bring water with you. We found there were some bugs on the hike down so needed some bug spray. The monkeys are very aggressive and one jumped on my wife's back. Don't eat food near them and be mindful of where they are as they are opportunistic. In my wife's case she walked under a monkey on a low hanging branch and I saw monkeys grabbing at people's low hanging hand bags. One man was literally carrying around a bag of plastic garbage to see if the monkeys would take it so he could film them.
