Fantastic farm, kind and well cared for horses, knowledgeable staff, beautiful scenery, delicious tea. Excellent value!

点评：My boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience with our afternoon tea ride. Our food was fresh and tasty, and our ride was long and beautiful. The total experience lasted from 10:30am-2:00pm.
It was his first time doing anything beyond a pony ride at the fair, and I have over 20 years of experience, so making it suited to both of our levels was no easy task!
The staff however, had no issue making it fun for both of us. He stayed with our fabulous guide, Verena (forgive me if I’ve spelled your name wrong) and I was instructed to wait, and then canter or trot to catch up. This worked great, as I enjoyed my cantering through the countryside and he felt safe and empowered with learning the basics. He even got a lesson at posting the trot once we returned from our ride.
The horses were kind, well mannered, and sound - the saddles were perfectly fitted to the horses and comfortable for the riders as well. Everyone I saw at the farm, both horses and humans, were safe and healthy and friendly. 10/10 recommend spending the day here on your holiday.
Recommendation: do bring gloves! It was crisp and rainy, with big gusts of wind up on the hills. I was happy to have my sweater and rain coat, and wished I’d brought gloves.
