Vista Class Dome Car
Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway的点评
点评：My wife and I decided to enjoy an afternoon visiting the Jim Thorpe area and specifically, the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway. We booked tickets for the Vista Class Dome Car and we boarded the 1:00 train. Our seats were really comfortable and the view out the windows was excellent on both sides of the train.
Since we are train buffs, this was a nice experience. We enjoyed the round trip and the narrator was informative and fun. Our Vista Dome Car conductor was excellent and he answered many questions from the other guests. He was especially good with the children on the ride.
Sadly, we missed the fall colors but with the leaves down, we could see more of the sights on both sides of the train. The area was still under drought conditions so the river was barely flowing. All in all, an enjoyable 70 minute train ride.
