点评:First off, I don't know from pearls. I hear they come from oysters and are kind of shiny? But if you're into pearls I can't think of a better place to visit. We did pick up a few small souvenir pieces, but there's so much here it's a bit overwhelming. I'd recommend doing your homework so you know what's what. This place is immense--the locals ride around inside on electric scooters or even bicycles! So. Many. Pearls. Do shop around at different stalls because we saw very different prices for items that looked very comparable to our inexperienced eyes.
We took the high speed rail down from Shanghai and then a taxi/Didi out to the market, and that all went smoothly. There are a few places to eat outside the market and possibly inside as well--honestly, I only saw a small fraction of the whole thing. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
