点评:I had heard about this amazing place years ago on some cooking show . There are several options for stays but I did the Signature stay: a 4 day stay. It is not in Palermo but in more rural Sicily on a farm and vineyard area that rivals Tuscany in beauty and production. Fabrizia Lanza, Anna’s daughter, and a staff of wonderful people create an experience that goes beyond food: it is about what real nourishment is at the table and in relationships. Fabrizia’s cousin runs the magnificent Tasca winery that their grandfather started and has made Sicilian wines known world wide. You visit the winery and experience an intimate educational tasting . The cooking classes are done through experience and you are trained with the nuances of your senses, not just a recipe. You visit a shepherd and watch him make his traditional cheese. It feels like a privilege. Each experience deepens one’s knowledge and sense of Sicilian food and life. I want to go back!
