点评:This is a commercial and tourist hot spot. We avoided walking inside the ‘shopping mall’. If you staying by Raffles City it’s about 1km (1 metro stop) walk to the cave.
But from a photographer standpoint, this is amazing building for night photography. But be warned it’s super crowded with humans.
Chong Qing is a night photography heaven and the city lights up with the skyscrapers backdrop is a must see and must do tourist landmark. I am glad not many foreign tourists have visited this place and this is not even listed as one of the top 10 destination for night city landscape photography. In all my travels not many cities have wow me with their night lights display.
Where to photograph this site: the lights come on at 6pm during the winter months but it’s still too bright for the building to stand out. After 7pm, it would be better and 2 places to take better angle are the bridge above the cave or by the ferry docking point. The best angle would be across the river by the Grand Theatre station.
