点评：An absolutely fantastic experience to visit the factory where dreams have been made by craftspeople using their hands, minds and basic tools for over a century and the same artisan approach is still used today.
Walking through the various shops with our fantastic guide Ken was an experience for the eyes, ears and nose. Hand beaten alloy over the timber frame, the smell of ash in the woodshop and the leather in the trim shop all made the tour immersive.
To see a bare chassis in a stillage outside and to follow the build lines to the completed car was amazing, I wish I had the money to have placed an order there and then!
The museum although small is unique as is the fantastic gift shop.
To finish our day we had a cream tea in the cafe, excellent quality finger sandwiches and cakes, I've never tasted a scone that good before! The mulled apple and cinnamon was fantastic.
Overall a great day out, highly recommend, 11/0 for everything, we'll be back👍.
