Do the full tour encompassing both sites

点评：There are two tours on offer and you would be doing yourself a great disservice if you only take the short tour (Newgrange monument only); it is well worth doing the fuller tour encompassing Knowth aswell. I took my niece (9) and my father, a spritely 80 year old and we had a gorgeous time.
The location is so beautiful, you are away from everything and it’s very peaceful and green. There is a delightful visitor centre with a stellar interactive ancient walk, a cafe, lovely clean toilets and a nice gift shop. It’s so pleasant.
The tour itself (we did Knowth and Newgrange) is enchanting and captivating. The bus ride out to the site is very short and comfortable with lovely drivers. The tour guides are so impressive, we were blown away especially by “Ishka” (spelling apologies) and her incredible knowledge and delivery; she made a huge impression on my niece, who is interested in archaeology.
I learned so much, the monuments themselves are awe inspiring and the views and surroundings are heavenly.
An extremely impressive and professional set-up from arrival to finish and this is an absolute “do NOT miss”.
I actually felt spiritually lifted after the experience…the soul felt very peaceful and fulfilled.
