点评：The tour of Newgrange was fantastic. It was my first time visiting Ireland, and I had little appreciation of its enormous significance. The other historic sites on the tour were also fabulous.
But what made the entire tour an unforgettable experience was the tour guide, who's name I've forgotten, he was trained as an archeologist and had to leave the profession due to his suffering from MS. Starting in Dublin, he gave a tour guide talk that compares favorably to the best college lectures from the most interesting and knowledgeable professors I've ever had the joy of witnessing. He was funny, interesting, well-grounded, a wealth of knowledge. The perfect mix of humor, fascinating stories, spiced with occasional lightening bolts of profound thought. Unforgettable experience.
The driver, Mervin, is super-efficient and incredibly friendly. I'm 64 years old and this is by far the best tour I've ever participated in. What a great job.
