点评：So, visited here having heard the reviews and ready up about what a great day at WOCL involved - we headed straight for the first deer feeding train ride - it was good; the talk from the driver was good, helpful and informative. The deer and sheep were very hungry and we loved the up-close interactions. Across the day we were able to walk a goat, bottle feed a goat and saw the birds of prey flying right over our head. We bought a picnic yet managed to fit in a coffee and an ice cream while visiting the other animals and bouncing on the inflated pillow.
We enjoyed the museums. The reason it didn’t live up to expectation was purely down to the staff around the venue - this is with the exception of the wonderful lady on entry who was amazing, built our excitement and even remembered us on the way out asking about our day. Unfortunately the rest of the staff were sullen, snappy and lacked visible enthusiasm for anything and everything we saw them do. It was a real shame. 2 weeks ago we visited Pennywell Farm and the whole atmosphere from the staff made it feel welcoming and inviting as well as staff being interested to speak to you about the animals etc. We live locally and unfortunately would not come back to WOCL. I don’t think this place lives up to its recommendations.
