We had the chance to visit this chocolate plantation while attending the Tony Robbins Life & Wealth Mastery event in Fiji, and it was a fantastic experience.
The tour was really informative and gave us a full insight into the entire process of chocolate making — from the cocoa trees and pods all the way through to the finished chocolate. It was fascinating to learn how long the process takes and how much work goes into producing quality chocolate.
We were also able to taste a variety of chocolates, around seven different types, each with unique flavours. I particularly enjoyed the chilli chocolate, masala chocolate, and the dark chocolate, which I ended up buying along with some local coffee beans.
What stood out most was seeing a passionate small local business sharing their craft and knowledge. The team were welcoming, knowledgeable and clearly proud of what they produce.
If you’re visiting Fiji, this is definitely a great experience and well worth a visit.
