雅安周公山国家森林公园的点评
点评：We are staying at Forest Walk Hotel.
It’s a kind of retirement village to escape the heat of a Sichuan summer coupled with a holiday destination, I think? It’s a shame that it’s been designed and built to maximize profits rather than being an eco-efficient 21st century retreat with innovative design & build strategy to take in the fresh air and dramatic scenery.
The hotel restaurant is a self service affair where one weighs the food in these prison style tray plates. Food is lukewarm at best and without any seasoning. Personally I’d give it a 4/10 but my wife was more generous at 5/10.
There’s pockets of live KTV style warblers everywhere and pleasant enough walks but with strange plastic dinosaurs scatted around the fauna and flora.
Supermarket, pool on roof of hotel. Medical centre and a few alternative restaurants available. Cost is 298rmb, 500rmb and suite is 1500rmb.
When we were here there was incessant piling building in progress from 7am to 10pm daily. We moved rooms 3 times to escape.

我们在这里的时候，每天从早上7点到晚上10点，都有人在不停地打桩。为了逃出去，我们换了三次房间。
