Porfell Wildlife Park & Sanctuary的点评
点评：I just love this place. Porfell is such a special place and truly deserves all the visitors it can get to keep it thriving. The staff are so lovely, friendly, and welcoming, we went yesterday and it was suggested we come back the following day as the animals had been fed so we may not see them and was close to closing time, so we come back today.
We first visited a couple of years ago and couldn’t wait to return, so we came again today for my birthday. The park has an amazing variety of animals from birds and owls, to lemurs, monkeys, antelopes, zebras, goats, donkeys, capybara, Shetland ponies, and smaller animals. It is helpful to see the signs to acknowledge some parts are currently empty and the reasons why. The animals are all happy and seem cared for very well.
You can buy feed for some of the animals, which makes the visit even more interactive and fun.
The park itself is large enough to enjoy a proper walk around but not overwhelming and plenty of animals to spot and see. There’s also a large car park and a little gift shop.
It’s a hidden gem and well worth a visit. If you love animals and want to support a place that truly cares, definitely go!
